For a very small room — or an interactive setup where the presenter stands at the screen — an ultra-short-throw (Epson EB-810E/815E) throws a 100"+ image from centimeters away with no shadow and no glare. For a boardroom that wants the cleanest, lowest- maintenance setup, an LED conference unit (BenQ LH730) runs near-maintenance-free, and a compact laser (Panasonic PT-VMZ) keeps a permanent ceiling rig bright for years without a lamp change.

A big hall punishes an under-spec projector: a 4,000-lumen unit that looked fine in a meeting room is a faint grey smear on a ballroom screen, and a washed-out or dead image mid-service is a failure everyone in the room sees at once. Large-venue projection is its own discipline — it is about brightness, the right lens, and a reliable light source, and buying a unit for an event a few times a year is a tens-of- millions capex that sits idle the rest of the time. Renting puts the right high-bright machine in the venue for exactly the dates you need it.
