For heavy 3D pipelines like Maya + Houdini + Substance Painter we usually recommend the HP ZBook Fury 16 G10 (Intel Core i9-13950HX + RTX A5000 16GB + 64GB DDR5 + 2TB NVMe) or the Dell Precision 7780 (Xeon W + RTX 5000 Ada). The MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max 48GB is also available for studios that prefer a Metal pipeline — it performs very well for Houdini Solaris/USD, Maya and Nuke. We prepare each unit with workstation drivers, a pre-installed CUDA toolkit and the Substance bridge plugin for day-to-day DCC work.
