Projector Screen Rental Jakarta — Delivered, Set Up & Sized to the Room

Projector screen rental from Arental (PT Amanah Sewa Nanjaya, NIB 0220106601498, KBLI 77394, since 2021) covers 5 Brite screen lines — tripod screens for meeting rooms, front/rear fast-fold screens for seminars and ballrooms, and motorized screens for rooms used over several days. The part that decides whether a presentation reads is not the fabric: it is the right size for the back row, set up square to the projector — and that is the service we deliver.

Summary

Arental (PT Amanah Sewa Nanjaya) rents projector screens in Jakarta for meeting rooms, training, seminars, conferences, and ballrooms. Three types, all from Brite: tripod screens (70"–96" per side, square 1:1, set up by one person in minutes), fast-fold screens (2×3 m / 150" up to 300", front or rear projection, the standard for stages), and motorized screens (electric, for rooms used over several days with a hanging point). Daily rates start at Rp 125,000 for a 70" tripod, Rp 200,000 for an 84"–96" tripod, Rp 800,000 for a 150" (2×3 m) fast-fold, Rp 900,000 for a 200"–300" (3×4 m and up) fast-fold, and Rp 350,000 for a motorized screen; weekly and monthly rates are lower per day. Delivery and on-site setup across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) are included, same-day in Jakarta, and the screen can ship with a projector on one quotation. Sizing rule: image height of about one sixth of the distance to the farthest viewer.

Why the Right Screen Decides Whether a Presentation Reads

A projector screen rarely fails loudly. It fails in the back row: an image too small for the room, so the last seats squint at slide text; a screen set too low, so heads in front cover the bottom third; a tripod angled a few degrees off the projector, so the image turns into a trapezoid; a widescreen deck squeezed onto a square screen with nobody adjusting the height. None of these are about the fabric — they are sizing and setup decisions made in a hurry on event day.

Arental treats those decisions as the service. Before shipping, we ask for the headcount, the distance to the back row, and where the projector will sit, and size the screen with the audio-visual rule of thumb — image height about one sixth of the farthest viewing distance. On site, our crew unfolds the screen, sets its height so the bottom edge clears the heads in front, and squares it to the projector. If something goes wrong — a creased fabric, a sticky tripod spring — a replacement arrives within 1 hour in Jakarta.

Most screens go out together with a projector, so the pair is planned as one: a 3,000–4,000 lumen projector for a tripod screen in a meeting room, a brighter unit for a large fast-fold. See projector rental to match the lumens, or the screen price list for every tier and duration.

What Is Included

4 Things We Do Around Every Screen

Screen rental at Arental is the work around the fabric: delivery and setup, a size worked out from your room, a projector on the same quotation, and a fast swap if anything goes wrong.

Delivered & Set Up on Site

Same-day delivery in Jakarta. Our crew unfolds the tripod or assembles the fast-fold frame, sets the height so the bottom of the image clears the front rows, and squares the screen to the projector. After the event, we dismantle and collect it.

Sized from Your Room

Headcount, the distance to the back row, and where the projector sits decide the size — image height about one sixth of the farthest viewing distance. We also check whether there is room behind the stage for rear projection.

One Package with the Projector

Screen, projector, 5–10 m HDMI cables, and a presenter laptop on one quotation and one delivery, every item a separate transparent line. Already have a projector? Rent the screen on its own.

Swap Within 1 Hour in Jakarta

A creased fabric, a sticky tripod spring, or a frame that will not lock — a replacement screen arrives within 1 hour in Jakarta, so the next session still starts on time.

Use Case 1 · Meeting Rooms & Training

Tripod Screens for Meeting Rooms and Classrooms

For a board meeting, a vendor pitch, or a two-day in-house training, the tripod screen is the default: one person unfolds it in about five minutes, and it stands anywhere with a flat floor — no wall mounting, no hanging point. The square 1:1 surface takes both a 16:9 slide deck and an older 4:3 file without swapping screens.

Size is where most rooms go wrong. A 70" tripod (178 × 178 cm, the size often sold as a 100-inch screen) covers 10–40 people with the back row up to about nine metres away; for a classroom of 40–80, step up to an 84"–96" tripod (213–244 cm). Daily rental starts at Rp 125,000 for the 70" line and Rp 200,000 for the 84"–96" line; a month-long training room is Rp 250,000/month.

Use Case 2 · Seminars & Conferences

Fast-Fold Screens for Seminars of 80–120 People

Once the audience passes about 80 people, a tripod screen simply is not tall enough for the back half of the room. A fast-fold screen solves that: the fabric is fixed to a rigid aluminium frame, so even the 150" size — the 2×3 m screen of the rental market — stays perfectly flat with no curl at the edges, and the legs lift the image high enough to clear the heads of a seated audience.

A 150" fast-fold needs a brighter projector than a meeting-room tripod — a 5,000-lumen class unit is the usual pairing — and our crew assembles it before doors open, usually in 15–30 minutes. Daily rental starts at Rp 800,000, and a weekly package (Rp 2,400,000) suits multi-day conferences.

Use Case 3 · Ballrooms & Stages

Large Fast-Fold Screens and Rear Projection for the Main Stage

Gala dinners, product launches, and town halls of 120 people or more need a 200"–300" image — from the 3×4 m screen up — and at that scale how the projector is placed matters as much as the screen. With a rear-projection fabric, the projector sits behind the screen: no cables across the aisle, no projector on a table in the middle of the room, and presenters can walk in front of the screen without casting a shadow. It needs clear space behind the stage for the throw distance, which we confirm with the venue in advance.

For very wide rooms, two screens either side of the stage often serve the audience better than one giant screen. Large fast-fold rental starts at Rp 900,000/day; pair it with a large-venue projector in the same quotation.

Use Case 4 · Fixed Rooms & Multi-Day Events

Motorized Screens When the Room Stays Set Up

A project office used for weeks, an exhibition hall with daily sessions, or an event with a stage frame already rigged — here a motorized screen gives the cleanest look: it rolls up out of sight between sessions and down again at the press of a button. It needs a hanging point (a truss, stage frame, or ceiling fixing) and a power socket, which is why we confirm the mounting with the venue before shipping.

Motorized rental starts at Rp 350,000/day or Rp 700,000/month for longer use. If the room has no hanging point, a fast-fold of the same size does the job without any fixing.

Sizing Guide

Screen Size by Headcount and Room Depth

Worked out with the audio-visual rule of thumb: image height about one sixth of the distance to the farthest viewer. Tripod sizes are quoted by the side, as the market does; fast-fold sizes by the diagonal and the frame size.

Screen Rental FAQ

Common Questions About Renting a Projector Screen in Jakarta

Pricing, sizing, tripod vs fast-fold vs motorized, aspect ratio, rear projection, setup, bundles, bright rooms, minimum rental, and delivery — what clients ask us most.

Arental projector screen rental follows the type and size: a 70" tripod screen (178 cm per side) from Rp 125,000/day (Rp 250,000/month) for meeting rooms, an 84"–96" tripod screen (213–244 cm per side) from Rp 200,000/day for classrooms and training rooms, a 150" (2×3 m) fast-fold screen from Rp 800,000/day for seminars, a 200"–300" (3×4 m and up) fast-fold screen from Rp 900,000/day for ballrooms and stages, and a motorized screen from Rp 350,000/day for rooms used over several days. How to choose: the headcount and the distance to the back row set the size, and the size sets the type — a tripod is enough up to roughly 80 people, beyond that a fast-fold. Rates include delivery and setup across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek). Send your headcount and room size on WhatsApp and our team will recommend the right size.
The audio-visual rule of thumb: make the image height about one sixth of the distance to the farthest viewer, so slide text stays readable from the back row. In practice: a 10–40 person meeting room (back row up to ±9 m) needs a 70" tripod screen (178 × 178 cm); 40–80 people (±12 m) an 84"–96" tripod (213–244 cm); 80–120 people (±13 m) a 150" or 2×3 m fast-fold; 120–300 people (±18 m) a 200" or 3×4 m fast-fold (400 × 300 cm); above 300 people a 300" fast-fold (610 × 460 cm) or two 3×4 m screens either side of the stage. Mind how sizes are quoted: the market names square tripod and motorized screens by their side length, but fast-fold screens by their diagonal — a "70 inch" screen measuring 178 cm per side has a diagonal of about 100", which is why it is often also called a "100 inch" screen. To avoid ordering the wrong one, we always write the size in centimetres. Send us a floor plan or the room dimensions and we will work it out.
A tripod screen is a roll-up screen on a three-legged stand: the most compact, set up by one person in minutes, and suited to meeting rooms up to training classrooms — sizes go up to 96" per side (244 × 244 cm). A fast-fold screen is a fabric surface snapped onto an aluminium frame on legs: it goes far larger (150", or 2×3 m, up to 300"), stays perfectly flat, takes front or rear projection, and is the standard for seminars, conferences, and ballrooms — setup is a two-person job. A motorized screen is an electric screen that rolls down and up at the press of a button or a remote: the tidiest look, but it needs a hanging point (a stage frame, truss, or ceiling) and a power socket, so it makes most sense for rooms used over several days or events with rigging. We help you choose by room and event length.
Match the projector and the content. WXGA and WUXGA business projectors are 16:10, Full HD is 16:9, and older XGA is 4:3; modern PowerPoint slides are 16:9 too. Tripod screens are usually 1:1 (square) — which is actually the most flexible, because the same surface takes a 4:3 or a 16:9 image with the unused band left unlit. Our fast-fold screens (Brite FAS) are 4:3 — a 16:9 slide fills the full width with a band left above and below. One important point: at the same diagonal, a 16:9 screen is wider but shorter than a 4:3 one — so for text-dense slides, make sure the image height is sufficient, not just the width.
Rear projection is used when the projector and its cabling must be hidden from the audience, or when presenters often walk in front of the screen — with projection from behind, no body shadow falls on the image. It needs clear space behind the screen for the projector's throw distance, and the screen must carry a rear (translucent) fabric rather than a standard front surface. That is why rear projection almost always uses a fast-fold screen on a stage or in a ballroom. If backstage space is tight, the alternative is front projection with the projector hung or placed high. Tell us about your stage and we will suggest what fits.
Yes. Across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek), our crew delivers and sets up the screen before your event: a tripod screen unfolds in about 5 minutes, a fast-fold usually takes 15–45 minutes for two people depending on size, and a motorized screen is mounted at a hanging point confirmed with the venue and then tested up and down. The crew also sets the screen height so the bottom edge of the image is visible from the back rows and squares it to the projector so the image is not skewed. After the event, we dismantle and collect it.
Yes, and that is the most common request. For events there are projector + screen packages with the sizes already matched: the Meeting Package (10–40 people) at Rp 185,000/day, the Classroom & Training Package (40–80 people) at Rp 300,000/day, the Seminar Package (80–120 people) at Rp 1,000,000/day and the Ballroom & Hall Package (120+ people) at Rp 1,200,000/day — the HDMI cable, delivery, setup, and pickup included. A presenter laptop and a standby technician can go on the same quotation and delivery, each as a separate, transparent line. If you already own a projector, the screen can be rented on its own too. See the projector rental page to pick the lumens that match your screen size.
Yes, with two caveats. First, light: in a bright room or semi-outdoor setting, the image on any screen washes out if the projector is not bright enough — the deciding factor is projector lumens and room lighting, not the screen fabric, so we pair a projector with enough lumens. Second, wind: a tripod screen tips over easily outdoors, so for outdoor use we steer you to a fast-fold whose legs can be weighted down. Rain and direct sun must still be avoided — the screen needs a tent or a roof.
There is no minimum unit count — we serve even a single tripod screen for a one-day meeting. Terms are flexible: a daily event package for 1–2 day events, a weekly event package for events of 3 days or more — it costs the same as 3 daily rates, and days 4 to 7 add nothing — and a monthly long-term rental for training rooms or projects. For example, a 70" tripod screen: an event package of Rp 125,000/day or Rp 375,000/week, or long-term rental at Rp 250,000/month. For a tiered event with several breakout rooms, a few tripod screens plus one fast-fold for the main hall can go in a single package.
We serve Jakarta and Greater Jakarta (Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi) from our office in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta — delivery within Jakarta can be same-day. Screen rental rates already include delivery and setup across Jabodetabek. For events outside Jabodetabek, shipping and crew are charged separately and spelled out on the quotation before you agree.
